Got on the water about 12:30. Sailed with 8.5m for about an hour in smoothish sea and sunshine, very pleasant., planing all the time but could have done with more wind. Reached about 20 knots. I came in for a cup of tea and chocolate cake (v. good) from the beach hut then went out again to be overpowered and sailed back in at 23.5 knots. Rigged 6m and was well powered for about an hour reaching 25 knots in great bump 'n' jump conditions, then the wind gradually declined and eventually put 7m on JP 135 and by then was a little underpowered as the wind continued to decrease and reached 21.5 knots. Sea was great all day with eventually 7 others out sailing and about 5 kiters. Great summer's day.
